The Union MSME Ministry introduced Udyam, an online system for registering micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, on 01, July 2020.

Conditions For Udyam Registration Apply Online Process 

  • There will be no charges for Udyam Registration filling online
  • Aadhaar number shall be required for Udyam Registration.
  • To receive OTP, it is necessary to have a mobile number linked to Aadhar card.
  • A permanent registration number will be given after registration.
  • After completion of the process of registration, a certificate will be issued online.
  • This certificate will have a Dynamic QR code from which details about the Udyam can be accessed on the official portal of the Udyam Aadhar.
  • There will be no need for renewal of Registration.
  • No business may register more than one enterprise, provided that any number of operations, such as manufacturing, services, or both, may be combined or described in a single enterprise.
  • The punishment mentioned in Section 27 of the Act will be applicable to any person who knowingly falsifies information or attempts to suppress self-declared facts and figures appearing in the enterprise registration or update process.
Udyam Registration Process

  • To register your enterprise, click on the link Udyam Registration given below.
  • On the home screen, select for new entrepreneurs who have not yet registered as MSME.
  • After that, enter your Aadhar Card Number,  mobile number, name (as it appears on your Aadhaar card) and many more details.
  • Click Validate and Generate OTP.
  • Enter the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click Validate.
  • After that, Proceed to the PAN Verification Page.
  • Fill out carefully, Udyam Registration application form with the required details.
  • Click submit and Get Final OTP.
  • Enter final OTP and Submit your Udyam registration Apply Online form.
  • Once your Udyam registration application is complete, you will receive an MSME Registration e-certificate via email.
