Age Limit for New Passport Apply Online- The passport validity period for minors is limited to 5 years, or until the age of 18 years, whichever comes first. However, minors between the ages of 15 and 18 may apply for a passport with a 10-year validity.

What is a Tatkal and Normal passport?- For Tatkal Passport : – For urgent travel needs, The Tatkal Scheme enables as little as 1-3 days, Compared to the typical 20-30 day turnaround.
- For Normal Passport : – When we apply for a Normal Passport, It takes 20-30 days to get the Passport.

How to New Passport Apply Online- Open Online Passport Application Form through given link.
- Choose your Category – Tatkal or Normal and 36 or 60 Pages.
- Enter your Basic Details ( Like – Name, Mobile Number, Email Id., Qualification Details, Address, Emergency Contact Number).
- Pay your Passport Online application Fee through Online ( Debit card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI ).
- After paying the application fee, you will have to book an appointment for document verification at your nearest passport office. You can take appointment date as per your convenience.
- After document verification at the passport office, then police verification will take place.
- After the police verification is completed, then passport will be sent to your address by post.
